News And Events  

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Gaston County Horseman's Association we encourage you to read through the following and submit an application.

Membership Dues Per Year:

  • Family Membership: $25.00 (Must be living in same household)
  • Adult Individual: $15.00
  • Student: $10.00 (16-23 years of age who is a full time student)

We issue a monthly newsletter that highlights future and past events that the club is involved in and informative, horse-related topics. We often have special programs of interest.

Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month. We have acquired, for the second year in a row, The Dallas Civic Center. In warmer months we plan to meet at members barns or clubs and have a cookout and enjoy presenters in a barn atmoshere.  The Dallas Civic Center address: 210 N. Holland St. Dallas, N.C.  28034

Reach, Rescue, Restore –Bit of Hope Ranch is a non-profit facility located in S. Gastonia, N.C.  The Ranch offers programs for rescued horses and broken children and their families.  The ranch needs donations of every sort; tack, farm supplies, grooming tools, volunteers, grain, hay, children’s riding apparel, barn supplies and equipment, plus monetary donations.  Southern States in Gastonia has set up an account for donations.  All Gifts are tax deductible since the Ranch is 501(c)3.
